Australian Skilled Occupation List upcoming review March 2020
The Australian Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business has issued a Traffic Light Bulletin with proposed changes to the Australian Skilled Occupation List.
The Department of Employment is responsible for undertaking regular reviews of the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL), the Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL) and the Regional Occupation List (ROL). These occupation lists are used for skilled migration to fill long and short-term skills shortages in Australia.
The below list is a proposal only as consultations are still taking place. The below list does not represent a final decision of the Australian Government in relation to changes to the Australian Skilled Occupation Lists. A formal and final review and updated occupation lists are expected in March 2020.
Occupations flagged for removal from the lists:

There are no other proposed changes to the Australian occupation lists. Consultations are taking place to discuss potential implementation and amendments to the Australian occupation lists. A final review is due to take place in March 2020.
