As of 1st February 2016 the Offshore Technical Skills Record (OTSR) will be valid for 3 years from the date of issue. Trade occupation applicants (including Electricians, Plumbers, Air-Conditioning & Refrigeration Engineers / Mechanics) eligible to apply through the Offshore Skills Assessment programme (OSAP) must complete the Australian gap training and employment within the OTSR validity period before being issued qualifications under the Australian Qualifications Framework.
