CHANGES TO THE SKILLED OCCUPATION LIST
On 17th January 2018, the Australian Skilled Occupation List has been updated with the following changes:
- Addition of the following occupations to the Short-term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL)
- Property Manager
- Psychotherapist
- Real Estate Representative
2. Occupations moved to Medium and Long-term Strategic Skills List (MLTSSL):
- Horse Breeder
- Management Consultant
3. Occupations removed from the lists:
- Building Associate
- Hair or Beauty Salon Manager
4. Updates on occupational caveats – Employer Sponsored Visa
Caveats have been introduced and /or amended for the following occupations:
- Property Manager
- Psychotherapist
- Real Estate Representative
- Horse Breeder
- Management Consultant
- Accommodation and Hospitality Manager nec
- Management Consultant
- Massage Therapist
- Recruitment Consultant
- Supply and Distribution Manager
- Taxation Accountant
These changes apply to applications lodged on or after 17 January 2018. Applications submitted to the Australian Immigration Department before this date will not be impacted.
